Let's be clear — women who swipe right are not prostitutes, nor is a match an invitation to have sex. And if the only sort of relationship you're capable of maintaining is of a transactional nature, where all intimacy is predicated, quite literally, on the exchange of goods, we have a problem.
Are women to be flattered by such propositions? By the notion that our attention and affections can be bought by a meal and a drink? Is that really what dating has become?
